About CACT
Canadian African Caribbean Trade
Connect. Coordinate. Amplify.
Who we are
CACT (Canadian African Caribbean Trade) is the institutional home for diaspora-led trade coordination across Canada, Africa, and the Caribbean. We organize trade missions, convene partners, and maintain a shared platform so organizations, people, and public institutions can find each other and act together.
What trade means here
Trade on CACT is broad exchange — commerce, services, knowledge, and relationships — not a storefront. Missions and the platform exist to open markets, introduce institutions, and sustain partnerships long after a delegation returns home.
How missions are carried out
Each mission is a curated itinerary: host-city engagement, structured institutional introductions, and follow-through after travel. Past missions span Marrakech, Paris, Gatineau, and Burundi; an economic mission to Phnom Penh is planned for November 2026.
Charters and governance
Our charters define vision, objectives, and how the portal is governed.
